Edging the Lawn Sprinkler Heads

Hi C.J. Q: I once had a round serrated edged metal "Champion Sprinkler" head edger. The edger looked like a metal can with the serrated edges on the bottom. It was on a metal rod about 30 inches in total length. Unfortunately, now that I have a gardener, I have notfound my garden edging tool.My gardener edges the sprinklers with a gas powered tool that makes a big circle about 7 inches in diameter or more around the sprinkler headsin the main or center portions of the lawn. On the edges of the lawn, he cuts a large "V" shape area on the sprinkler heads. This does not look as good as it used to look. I have tried many gardening shops and also asked various gardenersfor help; but no one has been able to find this type of edging tool. Can you help? Often times, the power equipment is the equivalent to swatting a mosquito with a sledgehammer. I actually recently started using an old-fashioned push type reel mower (click to check it out) and I’ve practically fallen in love with the thing. It’s so much easier to deal with, PLUS I save good money on gas AND get a bit of a workout in. Why did they ever add internal combustion engines onto some things?
