Sod in Fresno

I live in Fresno, Ca. and have a small inclosed patio area (approx. 200 sq.ft.) that I wish to prepare and lay some ready to mow lawn myself. Can you tell me where to purchase the lawn (turf,sod) whatever you call it in my area? Best Regards, Stephen G. Hi Stephen, You know, I tried my best to turn this into a full scale column, but I just couldn’t get past the first paragraph. Go figure! I did get a kick out of it though. Every time I think I’ve heard every question that could possibly be asked, I get something like “Where can I get sod in Fresno?” Kings River Turf 54 East Birch Pinedale, CA 93650 439-2337 I just got off the phone with a lovely young lady there who let me know that they’ll be happy to take care of you, but they wouldn’t be able to deliver or install an order that small. I doubt you’d find anyone who will, as 200 square feet is pretty tiny. You CAN call and order it though, and they’ll have it available for you to pick up the next day (her words, not mine). That small of an order should be pretty easy for you to lay down yourself. Just make sure to water it every day until it thoroughly knits (the roots grow into the existing soil.) Good luck Stephen!
